It's finally happened; Pleasantview Softball is back. The season officially started on Thursday night with two exciting games. The early game saw MCM Towing giving a strong effort, but were eventually defeated by a strong offensive showing by Willy Stouts Black. The final score was 12-7 in favour of the Stout sluggers.
It seems that Willy Stout's Black used up all the sponsor's mojo, because their doppelganger (Willy Stouts White) was defeated in almost bizarro-world-like fashion by the green giants that are Georgie Porgies. Willy Stout's White had a chance rallied to put a few runners in scoring position in the final inning, but couldn't seal the deal and ended up losing the game by a score of 11-7.
A couple of close games to start of an exciting season that look like it will see close competition between all eight teams.
